An exhibition of students’ research has been on display in the Campus hub, showing the results of the Summer Scholar research scheme.

Over the past two summers, around 600 students have been granted scholarships in a range of schools and faculties to help with their research projects. Students are supervised by a lead researcher during their scholarship. Summer Scholars were encouraged to enter the Victoria Summer Gold Poster Competition, by submitting a poster reflecting their work and experience. Subjects ranged from the Christchurch earthquake, to cyberbullying and 3d printing.

The best overall poster will be awarded $2000, with $500 rewards for another three categories. The posters are being displayed in the hub until Monday 25 March, and will be moved to the Alan Macdiarmid Foyer until the awards night on April 10.
