Tomorrow at 1pm there will be a gathering outside Parliament to draw attention to the human rights abuses in China in the lead up to the Olympics. It is also the first day of the trial of Ni Yulan who is a human rights activisit.
Ni Yulan has campaigned on behalf of the thousands of people who were forcibly evicted in Beijing durings China’s build up to the Olympics and she has a long history of calling the Chinese government into account for its actions.
So if you want to learn some more about what has been happening in Beijing, about Ni Yulan or just want to protest the misconduct of Chinas actions towards the people that make their country strong, please turn up.

We will be joining in with more than 100,000,000 others worldwide, as we contemplate, meditate and focus our minds while we light a Candle for Tibet, and harness the power of positive thought.
Wear something orange if you can. Bring a cushion or something to sit on, a candle, and a cup for warm and yummy FREE CHAI TEA. You will also have a chance to add to our human rights prayer flags.
