Nō te tau 2006 i puta tuatahi mai ngā karahipi o Tū Horomata. Ko tōna kaupapa ake he tautoko i ngā tauira Māori kei te pae tuarua e mahi ana. Ko tōna tikanga mā tēnei pūtea tautoko ka noho tonu ngā tauira Māori ki te whakapakari i a rātou anō i roto i ngā mahi o te paerua, ā, ka aronui atu ki ngā akoranga kāore nei i te kaha kitea ake i te huhua o ngā tauira Māori. I tēnei tau, tekau mā tahi ngā karahipi kua tukuna ki ngā tauira Māori kei te taumata paerua. Ko tētahi o ngā kōrero i puta mai i te hunga whakawā i ngā pukatono kua tuawhiti te āhua o ngā tono, ā, kua piki hoki te mahi o te hunga Māori e tuku tono ana mō te karahipi nei.
