The New Zealand Law Students’ Association (NZLSA) annual conference is to be held in Wellington in the first week of September.
More than sixty of New Zealand’s top legal brains in training will be treated to five days of law-related banter, competition and socialisation.
The conference will feature the finals of the student mooting, negotiation, client interviewing and witness examination competitions.
“Law competitions are an excellent opportunity for law students to gain practical skills essential in the legal profession,” NZLSA President Jeni Fountain said.
“This year the standard is incredibly high, as five New Zealand teams made the Australasian Law Students’ Association law competition finals at Brisbane in July”.
Guest speakers at the conference include Sue Bradford and Dr David Collins QC.
